Create My Blanket specializes in made-to-order personalized blankets using customer photos, artwork, text and designs. This page covers the most common questions before you create your blanket.

What can I put on my blanket?

You can personalize the printable side with photos, artwork, text, colors, logos or a combination. Only upload or submit content you have the right to reproduce.

Do I need design experience?

No. You can build your design in the online customizer, use a size-specific Canva or PDF template, or contact us for free design help.

What image quality should I use?

Use the highest-resolution original file available whenever possible. Screenshots and images downloaded from social media may contain less image data than the original. If you are unsure whether a photo or artwork file is suitable, contact us before placing your order.

What blanket styles are available?

Fleece: 100% napped polyester fleece, lightweight and cozy, white unprinted reverse, hemmed edge. Silk Touch: 100% polyester Silk Touch, smooth and plush, white unprinted reverse, hemmed edge. Sherpa: polyester fleece printed face with white, gray or tan Sherpa backing and a whipstitched edge.

How do I care for my blanket?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry with no heat.

How long does production take?

Every blanket is personalized and made to order. Production averages about 5 business days from order placement to shipment. This is an average, not a guaranteed turnaround time, and may be longer during holidays, peak seasons, or unusually high order volume.

How will my order ship?

For U.S. orders, standard shipping is typically sent via USPS Ground Advantage. Depending on destination and the service selected at checkout, orders may ship with USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Upgraded services may include USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx. Shipping and transit time begins after production is complete, and available options and estimated delivery information are shown at checkout.

Can you help if I need the order for a certain date?

If you need your blanket for a specific holiday, memorial, birthday, anniversary or other event, contact us before ordering so we can help you review the current production schedule and available shipping options. We recommend allowing extra time whenever possible.

Can customized blankets be returned?

Because customized merchandise is produced specifically for the customer, returns and exchanges are limited. Create My Blanket's Custom Products Warranty states that custom products are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship or material under normal use for 30 days from the date of purchase; qualifying defects are handled according to the policy.
